Christi Spangle, co-CEO at High Point-based interior design firm Barbour Spangle Design, assumes the role of board president for a two-year term beginning in 2021. She served as a board member since 2013.
Four new board members serving one-year terms include: Caroline Hipple, Norwalk Furniture; Nancy Fire, NYC-based Design Works International; Leslie Newby, WorkTheBrand; and Elizabeth Scruggs, Superior Construction and Design.
Long-time board member Dudley Moore, president of High Point-based Otto & Moore Furniture, will serve a two-year term as vice president of the library’s board of directors.
Sarah Stevenson, part of the Communications Specialists team for the City of High Point, has been named secretary of the executive committee.
Two new student representative board members are Ethan Barbour, a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and Dylan Timoney, a student at Appalachian State University.
