28th Annual Christian Ladies' Seminar

February 6-7, 2009

What a blessing the 2008 seminar was to the 465 ladies who attended.

We hope that you will join us for our next seminar which will be held February 8-9, 2008. Joining us again will be Mrs. Francie Taylor from Apple Valley, MN, and Mrs. Barbara Schultz from DeBary, FL. We will also be hearing from Mrs. Heather Sawtelle and Mrs. Mary Parker, both members of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

The speakers provided much spiritual food for thought, the music was a joy to hear, and we were able to laugh and enjoy great fellowship. The nearly 60 teens who attended enjoyed special workshop sessions and made a bracelet to help them remember the time spent in God's Word.

Looking Ahead...

We invite you to come and join us on February 6th and 7th, 2009 as we again seek to hear what the Lord has for us. Two of our speakers will be Mrs. Nancy Mattingly of Louisville, Kentucky and Mrs. Mardi Collier of Brevard, North Carolina. We would love to have you with us!

History

In the late 1970s, a group of five ladies had a vision to hold a seminar which would edify the ladies of Emmanuel Baptist Church and their guests. After much prayer and discussion with the pastor, Dr. Ralph Wingate, Jr., the first annual Christian Ladies' Seminar of Emmanuel Baptist Church was held in 1981, with 300 ladies in attendance. In the past twenty-four years, several thousand ladies from nine states have been blessed and edified by godly women at this annual event.
