Application Fee
A $30 Application Fee must accompany your Application for Admission.
Matriculation Fee
Each semester, students taking six or more credits will pay a Matriculation Fee. Those taking six to eleven credits pay $50 per semester. Students taking twelve or more credits pay $100 per semester.
Reservation Fee
After your application has been accepted, a Reservation Fee of $110 must be paid to secure your reservation. Returning students must pay the Reservation Fee each semester at the time of pre-registration. This fee is non-refundable after July 1 for the Fall semester and January 1 for the Spring semester. Students taking five or fewer credits are not required to pay the Reservation Fee.
Tuition
Tuition is $100 per credit hour. Students who are auditing a course will be charged $50 per credit hour. Independent research for the Doctor of Ministry is charged at $110 per credit hour.
Student Benefit Fee
This $60 non-refundable semester fee covers a variety of student benefits, such as the annual Seminary Lecture series, the Seminary Bible Conference, etc.
Payment Plan
Upon registration, the student's total semester bill minus any down payment is divided into four equal monthly payments. The first payment of each semester is due by September 5 and February 5 respectively. Midterm and final examinations may not be taken unless a student's account is current. Students paying their account over ten days late will be charged a late fee of $15.

Cancellation and Withdrawal Policies
Any student who does not cancel his reservation at least one week before the formal beginning of the semester for which he is enrolled must pay within thirty days 25% of the full semester's tuition. After a student has enrolled in the seminary, any voluntary or involuntary leaving of the seminary during the semester is considered a withdrawal. Any student who has officially withdrawn within the first three weeks of the semester owes all semester fees and tuition according to the following schedule:
- During the first week — 0%
- During the second week — 50%
- During the third week — 75%
- After three weeks — 100%
Financial Aid
In its desire to reward academic excellence, Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary awards scholarships to individuals who have excelled academically and spiritually. Applications for these scholarships may be obtained from the seminary office by requesting a scholarship application. These scholarships are limited in number. Applications must be postmarked by August 1 for the Fall semester and December 15 for the Spring semester. When a scholarship is awarded, the recipient will be officially notified. All scholarship applications will be acknowledged within thirty days of receipt. All scholarships, with the exception of the Pastor's Scholarship, are only available for full-time students. All recipients must meet all requirements for enrollment according to current Seminary policy. All scholarships will be applied to the student's tuition over the following academic year. EBTS reserves the right to withdraw or deny any scholarship if the recipient does not meet the minimum enrollment requirements. Scholarships may be withdrawn due to disciplinary problems. Scholarships
President's Tuition Scholarship
This prestigious scholarship is awarded in the amount of $1,000 to the seminary student who is selected by the seminary president, based upon the student's academic and ministerial achievement.
Emmanuel Baptist Church Youth Ministry Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is awarded to any student who grew up in the youth ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church (at least three years) and who graduated from a Christian college. This graduate must meet acceptable academic and spiritual standards throughout his/her high school and college career. The recipient is chosen by the church's youth pastor.
Sermon Contest Winner Scholarship
This $250 scholarship is awarded to the winner of the annual Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary Sermon Contest.
Greek New Testament Award Scholarship
This $250 scholarship is awarded to the New Testament Greek student who has the highest GPA in New Testament Greek Syntax or Exegesis classes.
Pastor's Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to any full-time pastor or full-time assistant pastor currently engaged in the ministry of a Bible-believing Baptist church. It reduces the tuition by 50%. Also, any full-time pastor or full-time assistant pastor who has people from his church in the seminary is able to attend tuition-free in accord with the number of class hours taken by that church member. For example, if a pastor has a church member attending six credit hours in the seminary, the pastor may also take six credit hours free of charge.
Tuition Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded in the amount of $500 to the seminarian who has the highest grade point average (GPA) as a full-time student.
