Standards of Conduct

The seminary, of necessity and because of the character-building program it provides, utilizes a system of guidelines for conduct and appearance. These guidelines are published in the Student Handbook provided to each student at the beginning of the term. Specific questions prior to admittance to the seminary should be addressed to either the dean of the seminary or the president. It is understood that attendance at Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary is a privilege and not a right, which privilege may be forfeited by any student who does not conform to its standards and policies. The seminary may request the withdrawal of any student at any time who, in the opinion of the administration, does not fit into the spirit of the institution, regardless of whether or not he/she conforms to the specific policies of the seminary.
