Summer Classics  and its indoor sister brand Gabby showed off its new 20,000-plus-square-foot showroom during October High Point Market earlier this month.

“The new High Point Showroom is a spectacular space,” said William White, president. “This showroom will allow us to fully represent all of the beautiful indoor and outdoor products we offer in a much larger — and more brand appropriate — environment.”

The new showroom, located at 333 N. Hamilton St., is comprised of four buildings that have been joined over the years. Inside those buildings, the new space features natural brick walls, exposed original roof trusses, beams and wood decking, and, in the first building at the entrance, a ceiling height of more than 15 feet. Additionally, the space features the company’s brand-signature Moorish Arches, three built-in bar areas, a large catering kitchen with commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment.

Outside, the new showroom has a large outdoor patio to display Summer Classics products outdoors, as well as a small courtyard visible from the front entrance. The main patio is covered completely with a canopy and sliding Textilene roof panels.

Looking to the future, the company said it has a larger master plan for the next phases of its showroom renovation. In the upcoming year, Summer Classics said it is focusing on adding an elevator and more lighting. Later on, the manufacturer plans to incorporate a new main entrance and large courtyard surrounding the elevator tower, connecting it to the existing entrance, and updating flooring to reflect brand-appropriate white-washed oak floors.
