IMC set to host more than 90 new, expanded showrooms at High Point Market

International Market Centers (IMC) will welcome more than 90 new, expanding and relocating showrooms and temporary exhibits across its 17 High Point Market properties next week.

Running Oct. 13-21, to date 73% of IMC’s more than 800 High Point resources have confirmed they will be open for fall market, consistent to the High Point Market Authority report that about 70% of the market’s total exhibitors are slated to be open.

International Market Centers’ 17 properties in High Point include: 300 E. Green St.; 300 S. Main St.; Commerce & Design Building (C&D); Furniture Plaza (FP); Historic Market Square (MS or MS-ADC for Antique Design Center properties); International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC); Klaussner on Hamilton; Market Square Textile Tower (MST); National Furniture Mart (NFM); Plaza Suites (PS); Showplace (SHOW); the Suites at Market Square (SAMS); and five on Hamilton Street – 121, 200, 320 and 330 N. Hamilton St., and 129 S. Hamilton St.

Fifty-nine new, relocating and expanding exhibitors will show in permanent showrooms across the High Point Market campus. The 29 new showrooms include:

Gabby, Summer Classics to showcase in new High Point showroom

HIGH POINT — Gabby and Summer Classics will unveil its new 20,000-plus-square-foot showroom at next week’s High Point Market.

The new showroom, located at 333 N. Hamilton St., is comprised of four individual buildings that have been joined over the years.

“The new High Point Showroom is a spectacular space,” said William White, president. “This showroom will allow us to fully represent all of the beautiful indoor and outdoor products we offer in a much larger — and more brand appropriate — environment.”

For the first time, the Gabby/Summer Classics showroom will feature a large outdoor patio to display Summer Classics products, as well as a small courtyard visible from the front entrance. The main patio will be covered completely with a canopy that incorporates sliding Textilene roof panels.

Inside, the new space features natural brick walls; exposed original roof trusses, beams and wood decking; and in the primary building at the entrance a ceiling height of more than 15 feet.

The High Point showroom also includes the company’s brand-signature Moorish Arches, three built-in bar areas, a large catering kitchen with commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment.
